GSS Builds a Communication Platform for Dalian’s “Three Centers”

Liaoning Coastal Economy Belt is the national strategic project and is the new impetus for Northeast China renovation. 2009 the 4th GSS is held in Dalian to promote the construction of Northeast Asia three centers: shipment center, logistics center and financial center. This GSS will build a international-level communication platform for the construnctio of “three centers” to attract more eyes from international investors.

Mayors from five port cities such as Nongbo, Xi’an, Qingdao, Dalian and Malacca, Le Havre will attend this GSS and make speeches. At the same time, these mayors will attend “Port Mayor Forum” on Oct 24th ,discuss city advantage and achieve cooperation and win-win of port cities. Dalian Port and Dalian Port & Entry Bureau will recommend Dalian city advantage to promote the construction of Liaoning costal economy belt.

With the previous 3 years of experience, 4th GSS has its features and scale. 2009 4th GSS will have brainstorms on world economy environment, industry framework, capital value and supply chain. Mr. Qian Yongchang, the former president of China Ministry of Communication praises GSS to be Shipping Davos and will play an important role in cooperation between China and overseas shipping industry.
