I think it is to take the modern logistics as the link to the node in the interior of an international model of urban construction land-port as the main body, combine the inland areas large has low labor costs and strong industrial base and the shipping capacity of coastal ports is strong and has broad international market connectivity of the world economy to become a major driving force for the national economy.
After the financial crisis, a wide range of new international economic order and also inland areas’ building of international land-ports put forward higher requirements of the standard: First, we must have good transportation conditions; Second, we must have a special customs supervision areas; Third, we must have the best logistics, brokerage, financial and other support services; Fourth, we must have the capacity to promote good regional radiation; Fifth ,we must have a modern logistics and information technology measures, which can provide the information network through participation in the global logistics major cycle.

Xi'an International Trade and Logistics Park’s goal is to build China's largest international land port, logistics center for commerce of upper and middle reaches of Yellow River. Grand support are given to the Xi'an International Trade and Logistics Park, approved the establishment of the bonded logistics center (B) And in the "Guanzhong - Tianshui Economic Zone Development Plan" clearly stated the need to expedite construction of Xi'an International Trade and Logistics Park to establish land-port based integrated bonded area.
